We spent a decade writing Rails apps and the last three years writing Python agents. Rails Agent is what we wish existed — documentation-free agent building via Kip, with agents living as plain folders in app/agents/.
The philosophy
Documentation-free by design. Kip is the inbuilt coding agent that already knows Rails Agent — you chat, it writes app/agents/. No new framework syntax to memorize. Edit the code yourself anytime.
What we believe
- The Rails monolith is the correct place to put your agents — as app/agents/ folders
- Chat with Kip should replace reading a framework manual
- You can still edit app/agents by hand whenever you want
- You should ship an agent in an afternoon, not a sprint
